The stars all follow the same preteen, the only ones you really need to worry about are the ones going ultra fast, & for manoeuvring around the UFOs I find it’s easiest to use the mini plane. I treat Hilda’s final phase like an easier version of Wally Warbles’ second/third phase (not sure which it is). That’s very fair, I find a lot of the game overwhelming bc of how much is on screen which is why I now change bosses so frequently or I “mentally can’t take it anymore” quit (like a rage quit but without the anger) lol. He just unfortunately has some awkward to dodge attacks imo lol
Djimmi is so good for parries though as you said, a lot of the time you can get them in just the first phase alone unless you’re super speedy, which yeah that’s great for beginners! & I like how his phases are so different, so you can easily learn them all & master then fairly quickly. Not always an issue though & I usually get enough parries quite easily. A lot of the time I end up missing the fish bullets & going for the stars in the final phase instead. I think I do agree that he has much better parry opportunities, & Hilda has very few. They’re all pretty hard in comparison (although Djimmi as only the second plane fight does balance out quite well with the faster increasing difficulty of land bosses). Imo though, none of the plane fights feel that good of an introduction to planes. They’re very simple & very easy to master, even on a lot of people’s first completions I can see them still easily being A+ ranks (first KO specifically). & absolutely The Root Pack & Goopy Le Grande both imo are really good introductions to land fights. literally only play her & on an endless loop like I did) she becomes super easy.
